BURBANK, Calif. – Due to the recent incidents of EHV-1 (non-neurological) at Desert International Horse Park, all competitors attending the upcoming LA February (Feb. 18-20) at LAEC will be required to follow strict biosecurity measures to keep our horses safe.
Temperature checks must be performed twice daily for all horses competing at LA February, including competing horses boarded at LAEC. Temperatures must be recorded on the stall placard provided and posted on each stall. We will be strictly enforcing this and we encourage all participants to click here for a complete description of Best Practices from the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA).
Thank you for helping keep our equine partners safe and healthy! We look forward to seeing you in the show ring.
Please feel free to reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions.
