This afternoon as the Sacramento Memorial Day Classic was wrapping up at the Murieta Equestrian Center, we were informed of a horse with a very mildly elevated temperature.
The horse was immediately isolated and out of an abundance of caution has been taken to a local veterinary clinic for further evaluation.
We are grateful to all of the trainers and grooms who are monitoring temperatures so diligently.
